Academy Overview

Whether you are a total beginner, a seasoned competitor, or simply
inquisitive about the wonderful world of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Gracie
Barra Birmingham has everything to offer. This site gives regular
updates about the club, members, special promotional offers,
competition news and regular comments from Braulio himself – so make
sure you check it out regularly.
As well as Braulio Estima being the head instructor of the academy,
there is also a an experienced support team of black, brown and purple
belt instructors to guide you through your progress.
We pride ourselves on fostering a friendly and pleasant atmosphere,
where our students can learn to the best of their abilities.
Aiming for the perfect environment for our students, we include brand
new specialized training equipment, two large airy matted spaces lined
by glass windows that brings natural light achieving a better sense of
focus and learning.
With an indoor car-park, and plenty of local parking spaces available,
Gracie Barra Birmingham is situated within a prime location of the
city centre, allowing for easy access by car, bus and train (a
minute’s walk from five ways train station, and a ten minute walk from
New Street Station).
