Braulio Estima (Head Instructor)
Braulio is one of today’s most exciting exponents of brazilian jiu jitsu. Currently a black belt with sinlge stripe, he has taken the discipline to new levels through constant learning and innovation. He develops and follows the basic learning structure from by GB America BJJ Programs and makes it his own. Braulio has been teaching in the UK for the last six years or so and has developed a unique and enjoyable teaching style delivered in his own inimtable way.
Whether you choose to join in with a regular class or a private lesson, the learning experience with Braulio is truly unique. Braulio will develop your game to suit you and your fighting style. Your game will improve immeasurably with guaranteed results.

Victor Estima (Instructor)
Victor is a fighter and leading exponent in his own right. He is of a new generation, still at a young age, he too is a very exciting fighter. Victor is easiy able to relate to his students and teach at a senior level. As with Braulio, Victor has won many accolades at World and European level and is a growing force at the most senior level in competitions.Amongst the many titles and accolades Victor has won are his most prized, including:
- 4 x State Champion
- 2002 World Mundials Absolute division (blue belt) – bronze medal
- 2003 World Mundials (adult division – blue belt) – silver medal
- 2005 World Mundials (adult division – purple belt) – silver medal
- 2006 Panams (brown belt) – gold medal
- 2008 European Championships (black belt) – bronze
- 2008 European Championships (absolute black belt) – bronze medal
Chiu Kwong Man (Coach)
Chiu is a brown belt recently added to two stripes. He was the first of only two people to be awarded a brown belt by Braulio in early 2007, and is Braulio’s most senior student to date. The other notable brown belt student is Dave Coles. He is an experienced instructor at the club and teaches the basic classes, as well as the advanced classes Gi and No Gi in the absence of Braulio and Victor. Chiu is a dedicated and loyal ambassador for the club and the UK Brazilian jiu jitsu scene and is known throughout the UK. He has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for about 6 years.
Chiu competition success in the masters lightweight division, with his main achievements:
- 1st London Open 2003 Blue belt masters lightweight Gold
- 2nd London Open 2004 Blue belt masters lightweight Gold
- Gracie Invitational 2004 Gold
- Gracie Invitational 2005 Bronze
- Gracie Invitational 2006 Purple Adult lightweight Gold
- Gracie Invitational 2008 Brown belt lightweight Silver
- North of England Grappling Championship 2008 lightweight Gold
Kevin Webb (Assistant Coach)
Kevin is a very experienced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner. Along side Chiu and Rob, he is also a senior at the club who instructs classes in the absence of a more senior member. Kevin is experienced in other martial arts, but is now totally focussed on developing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is a brown belt and competes regularly in the adult division.
Rob Stevens (Assistant Coach)
Rob started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2001 at GB Birmingham. He is currently a Brown Belt. There are a number of purple belts at GB Birmingham, but few have the dedication and consistency in training that Rob shows – Rob is a regular contributor to the club, and assists with teaching classes in the absence of anyone more senior to him. He competes at a regular level and has successes in different weight divisions
